从顺应论角度探析情景喜剧配音翻译 ——以成长的烦恼为个案

随着中外影视作品交流的日益频繁,越来越多的影视作品被引入国内。国外的情景喜剧,尤其是美国的情景喜剧更是为大众所接受和喜爱。然而与之相对的是,国内对于情景喜剧的配音翻译少之又少,相关的学术研究非常薄弱,对于情景喜剧中的幽默进行的专题研究尤其屈指可数。在此背景下,本文从宏观语用学角度出发,以Verschueren的语言顺应观为理论依托,探讨语境因素对情景喜剧中幽默对白的配音翻译的影响,指出译者在翻译过程中是如何顺应这些语境因素,从而能够尽可能的使目的语观众获得源语观众相似的审美感受。Verschueren的“顺应论”认为语言使用是为实际交际目的而连续不断进行选择的一个过程。语言使用者之所以能够作出选择,是因为语言具有变异性、商讨性和顺应性。顺应性是语言使用过程的核心,任何语言的使用都要根据环境作出动态顺应。配音翻译是跨文化的交际活动,是译者在不同的意识程度下动态地在语言结构和语境之间作出顺应的过程。因此情景喜剧中幽默对白的配音翻译可以从顺应论的视角加以研究。本文分为六章。第一章介绍了研究背景、研究意义、研究方法和文章结构。第二章概述了配音翻译的相关研究及其特点。第三章对Verschueren的顺应理论做了详尽的介绍,并对语境顺应论在配音翻译中的作用进行阐述,为深入分析做了理论铺垫。第四章简单介绍了情景喜剧的特点和目的。第五章通过对情景喜剧《成长的烦恼》中幽默对白配音翻译的分析,描述和解释了译者在选择翻译方法时的顺应性。并尝试归纳了可行的翻译策略。最后得出结论:语境顺应论为幽默对白的配音翻译提供了一种新方法和新思路,有助于译者根据目的语观众的需要选择恰当的配音翻译策略。
