自从韩礼德提出衔接理论以来,语篇分析已经成为主流的语言学研究方法之一。语篇分析理论可以应用在英语教学中的各个方面。在过去的二十年中,中国有大量的学者用语篇分析理论来研究英语的听说读写。在这些研究中,阅读占据了主体部分。然而,语篇分析主要用来研究阅读教学,几乎没有人构建语篇分析的理论框架来研究英语阅读理解的测试。本研究就是为了填补该领域的空白,丰富语篇分析理论在试卷研究上的应用。本研究重点探讨高考英语阅读理解的特征。本研究会先建立一个高考英语阅读理解的试题库,然后对其采用定量分析和定性分析相结合的手段。这个试题库包括了近六年(1995-2010)高考英语试卷中大约500篇阅读理解的文章。为了使研究结果更有说服力,2009年辽宁高考英语阅读理解将会被选为样卷来进行定性分析。希望本研究能表明词汇能力是阅读理解测试的主要方面。而且对语法衔接和词汇衔接的意识培养也应是语言教学中阅读理解的重点。
