Cultural Interference in Interpreting of Foreign Affairs on Education

21世纪在经济,政治,文化全球化的背景下,高校对外交流与合作日渐活跃,对从事教育外事的人员提出了新的要求。一直以来,人们普遍认为只要拥有流利的口语,就能做好口译工作。实践证明,口译不仅是将信息从一种语言形式转换为另一种语言形式的语言交际行为,同时也是一种跨文化交际行为。不同语言中存在的文化差异势必会影响口译的顺利进行。本文拟从文化干扰的角度来理解口译。主要阐述了口译中不注意实际存在的文化差异而导致交流不畅甚至失败的原因,并提出了切实可行的对策。论文主要从以下四点进行分析。首先本文对口译作了简单介绍,包括口译的定义,发展历史,类型等。本章最后,作者也给出了教育外事口译的基本概念。第二着重分析口译的本质。首先以口译的过程作为分析的起点,给出口译和教育外事口译的特点。接着,作者引用包括奈达和塞莱斯科维奇在内的不同的口译大师和理论派代表人物的口译理论,说明了口译是一种特殊的跨文化交际行为。最后,作者解释了为什么要以文化干扰作为出发点的原因并列举了文化干扰引起的常见的误译现象。第三作者以教育外事的工作内容为例,从大文化的概念范畴出发,详细阐述分析了自己在实际教育外事工作中所观察采集到的文化差异实例。第四本文具体阐述了对待文化干扰的对策。作者首先以严复的“信,达,雅”和奈达的“功能对等”以及白靖宇的“文化再现”等翻译原则为依据,指出实际工作中口译要达到的目标,即准、顺、快。接着,作者分别举例说明,在具体翻译实践中通过增加跨文化的意识和运用归化、异化、文化调停等手段来减少文化干扰带来的误译问题,使教育外事口译工作趋向完美。
