高职高专非英语专业学生跨文化交际能力的调查研究

随着我国对高等职业教育的日益重视,高职高专院校队伍也不断发展壮大,对于高职高专的英语教学也随之引起了越来越多的关注。在高职高专英语教学方面,在贯彻落实好国家“以应用为目的,实用为主,够用为度”的教育方针前提下,既要培养学生具备必要的英语语言知识,也应强调培养学生运用英语进行有关涉外业务工作的能力。因此,对高职高专学生跨文化交际能力研究也就具有了重要现实意义。由于各种原因,尽管非英语专业学生在进校前已经进行了很长时间的英语学习,但是其跨文化交际能力明显较低。目前,许多国内外语言教学者及专家越来越重视语言教学中的文化教学,文化教学已经成为语言教学中的一部分。笔者在论文中分别阐述了语言、文化、交际以及跨文化交际能力的定义,并探讨了前三者之间密不可分的关系以及培养跨文化交际能力的意义。本论文采用定量研究,分别以问卷调查以及文化测试的形式对高职高专非英语专业学生的文化交际能力进行了调查,并在此基础上侧重对高职高专非英语专业学生跨文化交际能力的培养问题进行研究,并提出建设性的教学建议。根据数据分析结果,作者发现高职高专院校非英语专业学生跨文化交际能力较低。首先,学生普遍缺乏语用知识和跨文化交际意识：其次,高职高专的英语教师对提高学生的跨文化交际能力培养给予的重视不足。再次,大多数学生认为,课堂中以及课本中所涉及的文化知识的信息有限,文化教学内容应该增加,形式也应该多样化。本文就如何培养高职高专非英语专业学生跨文化交际能力进行了尝试性的探索。全文共包括六章,文章首先对该研究的背景、目的、意义以及文章的布局进行了具体陈述。第二章介绍了语言、文化、交际及跨文化交际的理论及其之间的相互关系,并简要阐述了国内外跨文化交际研究的历史。第三章为调查问卷设计,调查采用定量研究,分别对非英语专业学生和英语教师展开了问卷调查和对学生展开文化测试。第四章主要针对调查问卷的结果进行分析,指出现在高职高专学生在英语跨文化交际能力方面以及教学中存在的问题。第五章主要针对上述问题分别提出五项具体的教学建议。第六章为总结,概述了论文的主要内容与本论文的局限性,并对将来的研究提出了建议。
