从顺应理论角度分析三个《圣经》汉译本中的翻译策略

论文摘要

顺应理论认为,从语言的使用方面,顺应能力是语言的一种特性。它能使我们为达到满意的交际需要从语言的各种可能性中做出可沟通的语言选择,且这种语言选择是变化能力,沟通能力,顺应能力的不可分割的过程。而翻译是为交际目的而“做选择”的语言过程,即顺应过程。本文基于顺应理论对《圣经》的三个不同时期的汉译本分别作出对比分析。从语境,结构,动态和特征这四个顺应视角,分析圣经译者对不同翻译策略的选择——形式对应和功能对等,使得不同的《圣经》译本的语言选择能迎合不同的读者从而达到另人满意的交际效果。并为译者对翻译策略的选择给予理论支持。
