英汉指示代词功能对比研究

英汉指示代词功能对比研究

近年来随着语言单位和确定语义特点研究的进一步深入,指示逐渐进入语用语义学家视野,并成为语用学研究的一个重要内容。指示代词是最原始,也是最基本的指示语言的手段,它最基本的功能是指示功能和照应功能。本文从指示代词这一语用学的内容着手,以英汉指示代词中最典型的指示代词“this、that”和“这、那”为研究对象,主要从指示代词的功能角度对英汉指示代词进行对比研究,分析英汉两种语言的异同以及深层原因。指示代词是语言的一个基础范畴,对这样的现象进行对比研究,是当前语言学研究的需要。代词是表达指示的基本手段,从指示的角度研究代词,可以更鲜明地体现代词系统的内部统一性,同时丰富现有的指示研究。本文对指示代词的定义和基本体系做陈述并进行对比,阐述参照物、语境对指示代词的使用和理解的影响;同时阐述指示代词的指示功能和照应功能及两者之间的异同,其中主要从姿势型用法和象征性用法两方面进行英汉对比研究。并且在英汉指示代词照应功能上也进行了对比研究。指示代词的对比研究可以帮助学习英语者了解语言间细微的语法、语义、文化等方面的差异,本次研究希望为今后更加深入研究两种语言的关系以及语言发展的规律起到一定的积极作用,并指导英语教学与实践。
