高中英语“写长法”教学的运用探究

我国二语习得专家王初明教授首倡的“写长法”是以写促进外语学习的全新方法。“写长法”的实效性早己在全国多所高校得到实证,并得到了国内著名专家、学者们的充分肯定,而且正在许多大学大力推广。但把它下移到高中的起始年段是否可行?目前很少有人用实证的方法加以研究。本论文的目的就是想通过实证的方法,探究“写长法”用于高中英语教学的可行性,从而不仅促进高中英语的写作教学,而且通过“以写促学”促进高中生英语水平的整体提高。本论文采用文献综述和实证的方法进行研究。论文首先分析了目前高中英语写作教学的存在的问题和成因,强调高中英语写作教学的重要性,并通过评述“写长法”的教学理念和优势,从理论上分析了“写长法”下移到高中阶段的可行性,然后介绍了本人在浦城一中高一(8)班开展运用“写长法”的十个月写作训练,并对实验前后的相关数据进行了分析。通过分析表明:1)与控制组相比,“写长法”提高了学生写作的自信心,改变了他们对写作的态度。2)与控制组相比,实验组56名学生的写作能力,尤其在流利程度和准确率方面有了不同程度的提高。3)与控制组相比,实验组学生的整体英语水平取得了显著的进步。同样我们发现部分中等成绩的学生和后进生进步较大。4)实验组的学生对写长法的看法是肯定的。“写长法”的教学理念和具体操作方法符合高中英语新课标倡导的教学新理念,为高中英语教学提供了一条以写促学的途径,具有推广的价值。同时,本文也提出了在实验中有待今后进一步改进和完善的问题,如如何进一步设计好写作任务,如何选取学生欢迎的范文等等。
