诗歌的符号学解读 ——安德鲁·马韦尔的个案研究

安德鲁·马韦尔(1621-1678)是十七世纪英国玄学派诗人的重要代表,在诗歌内容与形式上均有所创新,诗风或诙谐雅致,或田园牧歌,多用奇喻,融机智的语言表达、炽热的内心情感和深刻的思想于一体。符号学著述汗牛充栋,诗歌理论研究也俯拾即是,但是将诗歌理论纳入符号学框架的研究却屈指可数,具体到以玄学派诗歌为例研究诗歌符号学的研究更寥若晨星。统一的符号学科学体系尚未完全建立,独立的诗歌符号学理论更是刚刚起步,以单独个诗歌流派、一位诗人的作品为例研究诗歌与符号学的关系的系统研究则尚未出现。本文以安德鲁·马韦尔的诗作为例,尝试从符号学的视角解读诗歌,致力于将诗歌一家一派之研究纳入诗歌符号学研究之大框架之内,以为诗歌解读建立符号诗学的系统解读方法。首先扩展、修正了符号学三角以涵盖语言、符号、诗歌与文学等因素,然后以马韦尔的诗作为例,用扩展的符号学三角为理论框架审阅诗歌文本,。本文提出诗歌的诗性存在于从表层意义到深层意义的超越过程中,读者能在启发式与反省式的阅读过程中体味到这一超越。这一超越的具体实现在母体产生诗歌文本的过程中,该过程存在某一具体模式,并可分为扩展与压缩两种类型。母体本身由超语法模式产生,超语法模式可分为语义型超语法模式与句法型超语法模式。这一过程涉及互文性,即诗歌文本与超文本之间的作用关系。根据以上推理,本文指出了合理的诗歌解读的四个必要条件,分别为:处理诗歌文本的形式主义方法论,包含文本细读等具体方法;对于诗歌文本创作中的陌生化的认识,陌生化的程度由单个诗人决定;对于诗歌中的二次符号化的理解;以及最后达成的以读者为基础而非以读者为中心的诗歌解读,这种解读并不是最终产品,而是作为再次符号化及解读的质料。这四个必要条件的提出是为了进一步证明诗歌的纯文学本质。结论指出,诗歌是日常告知型语言的进一步符号化,其解读应该个人化、民主化、多样化。
