论文摘要
本篇论文试图通过建立问卷质量的评估框架来探讨大陆二语习得研究的问卷质量。本研究收集了中国大陆二语习得研究者从2001年至2006年在中国大陆主要外文杂志或刊物上发表的论文中所使用或设计的21篇问卷。通过评估这21篇问卷,本研究有以下发现:1)大陆二语习得研究者已经认识到问卷设计在调查研究过程中发挥着非常重要的作用。为了得到可靠而有效的研究数据,他们也试图设计高质量的问卷。2)在问卷设计过程中,大陆二语习得研究者注意围绕研究问题来设计问卷上的具体问题,但是他们更重视问题的措辞,问题的排序和备选答案的设计,而有些忽视问卷上标题和指导语以及问卷预测方面的设计。3)收集到的问卷中存在以下缺陷:a)忽视问卷的预测环节;b)没有使用受试者的母语;c)问题措辞不当;d)一个问题中包含两个小问题;e)与研究问题不相关的问题;f)不合理的问题次序;g)备选答案设计欠妥;h)问题与备选答案不协调;i)指导语欠妥;j)问题数量不够。基于以上研究发现,本文得出如下结论:1)大陆二语习得研究的问卷质量存在一些问题,总体状况不尽如人意。2)尽管问卷被广泛地运用于二语习得研究,但大陆二语习得研究者似乎对问卷设计方面的理论没有充分的认识。3)设计一份高质量的问卷不是轻而易举的事情。基于以上研究,文章进一步提出了以下建议:大陆二语习得研究者应重视在收集到的问卷中发现的问题;为了加强语言学专业研究生对问卷设计重要性的认识,应该开设问卷设计这一课程,该课程应以问卷设计原则的教与学为核心,将理论学习和实践相结合。
