《傲慢与偏见》汉译本中反语与亲密反语对比分析 ——语言偏离的语言学研究

论文摘要

“语言偏离”是指，在语言交际的过程中，发话人为取得某种交际目的，有意识地背离公认的语法规则或语用准则的语言运用现象。很多语言学家从句法、文体、文本及修辞等角度，对这一现象展开研究，为其本质特征的认识和把握做出了巨大贡献。然而，鲜少有人从语用学的角度对这一现象展开分析，研究语言偏离的语用意义及其对比翻译。当我们从语用的角度对语言偏离展开探讨时，发现irony和banter，一个反话正说，一个正话反说，属于典型的语义偏离。由于这两个语言现象本质相近而语用意义相反，对其进行研究有一定的理论价值，因此本文拟以irony和banter作为语言偏离的典型个案，从语用学角度对其进行分析研究，找出它们各自的语用准则，用来指导对irony和banter的理解、认识以及翻译。为了将总结出的语用准则应用于实践并验证其解释能力，本文对英汉两种语言在对irony和banter的理解和翻译上作了试探性对比研究。为保证语料相对翔实可靠，本文选择《傲慢与偏见》的原文及由权威出版社发行的三个中译本作为语料数据。通过对比研究，一方面我们将语用原则应用于对具体语境的解析，实现了语用研究的最终目的，另一方面检测这两个语用原则的解释能力及指导意义。
