英汉学习型词典中新词译义的研究 ——基于认知语言学理论的研究方法

论文摘要

英语新词的翻译在英汉学习型词典中是一个不容忽视的问题。本文试图从认知语言学的角度探讨在英汉学习型词典中英语新词存在的翻译问题。本文首先从认知语言学角度对新词进行定义、分类,并在隐喻和换喻理论的指导下对新词的形成和意义进行了分析。接着作者对三大英汉学习型词典进行了对比研究,并且对中国英语学习者在翻译和理解新词中遇到的困难以及他们对新词提供信息的准确程度进行了实证研究。在分析英汉学习型词典对比研究和实证研究结果的基础上,本文从认知语言学视角构建了一个新词翻译流程图,并根据新词不同的分类提出了具体的翻译方法,在此基础上建立一个新词的翻译原则。希望本文对未来的英汉学习型词典中关于新词译义的研究和编撰有所帮助。
