文学模糊及其关联顺应翻译研究

论文摘要

本文首先从文学模糊的定义、特点和分类出发对文学模糊进行了研究,继而以关联理论和顺应理论为基础,从关联一顺应理论的视角对文学模糊的翻译进行了探讨。近年来对文学模糊的研究引起了越来越多的学者的重视,并取得了一定的成果。然而在当前的研究中对究竟什么是文学模糊,并没有学者给出明确的定义。本文在将文学模糊定义为语言模糊在文学作品不同层面上的体现的基础上,将文学模糊分为语义模糊,意象模糊和语用模糊,并对其特点进行了分析。模糊性是语言尤其是文学语言的显著特点之一,模糊性是文学作品的魅力之所在。文学作品中各种文学模糊手段的精妙使用对于营造文学作品的独特意境,赋予读者广阔的联想空间和审美空间具有重要意义。正确翻译文学模糊关系到译本各种文学功能的实现和其被译文读者的接受程度。迄今为止,国内学者对于文学模糊翻译的原则作了一些研究,如直译、意译、模糊译模糊、模糊译精确等,但这些原则的作用是有限的,因为他们没有说明运用这些原则的具体条件。本文认为,关联理论和顺应理论在指导翻译上各有长短。关联理论解释力强,描写力弱。而顺应理论恰恰相反。因此将两者结合在一起,可以达到二者的优势互补。在关联一顺应模式下翻译既是一个寻找关联的明示一推理过程,又是一个动态的顺应过程。在翻译过程中,一方面,译者在原文认知语境中寻找关联,正确处理原文作者交际意图,另一方面,译者在译文认知语境中作出动态顺应,在认知语境中以变异、协商、顺应的方式进行语言选择。本文在关联一顺应理论的指导下,对语义,意象和语用等文学模糊现象的翻译进行了具体研究。研究发现,关联-顺应理论指导下的文学模糊翻译可主要采取直接翻译、直接翻译加注释和间接翻译等翻译策略,并指出,无论译者选择哪一种具体翻译策略,他都应该以关联一顺应理论为指导,以关联为准绳,以顺应为手段,以意图为归宿,这样才可能使译文尽量趋同于原文。
