英汉交传的理解中自上而下和自下而上处理方法的实证研究

口译过程是动态的过程,是一个借助认知知识和主题知识对语言进行阐释和理解的逻辑推理和分析的过程。这种推理和分析不是对语言的简单辨识,而是了解语言承载的信息意义。所以,口译过程中的意义理解是一个复杂而关键的步骤,它对接下来的语言输出起着决定性的作用。本文是一篇基于心理语言学理论的英汉交替传译的实证研究,采用统计学的方法对实验数据进行分析,主要研究自上而下和自下而上两种语言处理方法在交替传译的理解过程中是如何发挥作用的。通过此实验,希望能够解决以下几个问题:1.证明交替传译的理解过程中,自上而下和自下而上两种语言处理方法的存在性和重要性。2.自上而下处理方法的几个要素。3.自上而下和自下而上处理之间的关系和各自的性质。本文的将语言处理的自上而下和自下而上处理模型、图式理论、吉尔的口译精力模型等作为主要理论依据,对实验数据采取了定量和定性的分析研究,经过讨论最终得出以下结论:1.自上而下和自下而上的处理方法在口译的理解中同时起作用,缺一不可。2.自上而下处理方法极有力的推动对源语信息的意义构建,帮助译员在必要的时候进行预测和假设。3.自上而下处理方法包括三个重要的条件:主题知识、语境和语言外知识。4.自下而上的处理方法是口译理解的基础,为语义和语篇意义的构建提供可能。5.自下而上处理是自上而下处理的基础,是一种分析性加工方法。自上而下处理可以修正和弥补自下而上的缺漏,是一种综合性的加工方法。
