互文性的语篇语言学研究

互文性或篇际性(intertextuality)这个术语是法国符号学家Kristeva在20世纪60年代术创立的,此后,这一概念成了文学理论和文化研究领域中最重要的关键词之一,同时也是这些领域的研究热点之一。在过去的二十多年里,语言学家也接受了Bakhtin的对话理论,使得互文性的研究超越了文学领域。1981年,Beaugrande和Dressler将互文性概念引入语篇语言学,并将互文性定义为“一个语篇的生产与接受依赖于参与者其他语篇知识的方式”,同时把互文性作为语篇性的七条标准之一,为语篇互文性的语言学研究提供了新的理论视角。然而,互文性在语篇语言学中并未受到充分的重视。 本文在语篇语言学理论框架中,以语篇交际构成原则与对话理论为主要理论依据,从共享知识与互文线索、互文性与语篇体裁、互文性与语篇评价以及互文性的语篇功能等四个方面,探讨互文性在语篇中的表现和作用,揭示互文性在语篇中的语言、社会、评价及认知维度,表明互文性不只是不同语篇之间形成的意义关系,而是一个语言、社会、评价与认知的多维互动过程。我们的目的是通过这样的研究,拓展我们对互文性及其本质的认识与理解,为语篇互文性研究提供新的可能,为互文性以及语篇研究的理论建设做出一点贡献。 本文共分八章。 第一章阐述研究的背景、目的以及方法,并介绍了论文的结构。第二章首先讨论了互文性的学术渊源,分析了Plato,Saussure以及Bakhtin等人的思想对Kristeva互文性理论的促成作用,然后梳理概述了互文性的定义和类型,最后对有影响的互文性语言学研究以及互文性批评性语篇分析文献作了简要的回顾与评述。从文献的回顾与评述可以看出,在语言学许多领域已对互文性作了不少的研究,而从语篇语言学途径研究互文性的却不多,未受到足够的重视。第三章主要介绍语篇语言学的定义、流派、语篇的定义、语篇语言学研究的原则以及语篇交际构成原则和声音与交际等相关的理论,为本文的研究提供一个理论框架。 第四章到第七章是本文的重点。 第四章首先提出瓦文性的语篇语言学研究强调共享知识这一概念和读者对互
