论口译的职业化

论文摘要

本文关注口译工作的职业化。随着口译研究的发展,口译的职业化道路引起了越来越多学者的关注。口译,作为不同语言持有者之间的一种交流方式,是人类历史上进行跨文化交往时不可或缺的古老技能,最早可以追溯到人类的远古时代。同其他专门职业一样,口译也是一种专门的职业,也有其特定的职业特点和要求等。随着当今社会的发展,口译正在上升到新的专业高度,要成为一名优秀的口译人员须接受大量正规而严格的训练。论文从口译的职业化角度出发,论证了口译的职业化历史、职业的规范、职业技能,并针对口译从业人员的要求指出职业化培训的必要性,设计了相应的培训内容。同时,论文也提出口译的资格认证和专门的职业协会在一定程度上提高了职业化的权威性,也对口译的职业市场起到规范作用。引言部分介绍了本文的写作思路和框架。主体共分为六章。第一章初步定义口译出对不同的场所口译工作进行分类,介绍了如今社会对口译工作的误解对口译职业化本身造成的影响。第二章回顾了口译职业化道路在中西方的发展,从早期初步的探讨,到现在相对成熟的职业化市场的现状。第三章在前面对职业化发展有了一定理论和历史分析的基础上,讨论了口译职业化的定义,指出口译职业化的困难,重点研究了职业化的几个关键要素:口译的质量,工作环境,口译职业协会,职业道德,职业培训和职业认证。这几个要素都是相互影响,缺一不可的。第四章探讨了口译职业化的两个关键要素。此章阐述质量的定义和对质量的评估。口译质量不仅指译员在口译过程中成功扮演交流沟通的角色,也包括对译员语言知识,语言外知识,口译技能,职业规范的要求。对口译质量的评估兼顾了用户的期望。此外,此章论述口译职业培训和认证体系,针对对译员的素质要求设计了培训的课程第五章重点关注了在口译职业化中占有重要地位发展相对成熟的一个职业分支的会议口译和会议口译译员的状况,会议口译的市场。
