对于语用翻译和美学翻译的整合性研究

论文摘要

随着语用学和美学对翻译逐渐深入和广泛的影响,国内外对于语用翻译和美学翻译的研究都初步建立并日渐成熟。然而,更多的研究是针对于语用翻译或是美学翻译的独立的研究,而没有把这两种翻译理论整合起来。本文受刘宓庆的“翻译的运作三层面”理论启发,基于语用学和美学内在的共同之处,以及语用翻译和美学翻译在翻译过程中的地位和作用,提出了“翻译的新三层面”的方法。在“翻译的新三层面”方法中,把翻译过程视作一个由三个层面组成的加工过程,即语义层面,语用层面和美学层面。本文主要阐述后两个层面,即语用层面和美学层面的关系及应用。通过对语用翻译和美学翻译理论的研究,本文阐述了语用翻译和美学翻译的内在关系。在翻译的过程中,语用翻译和美学翻译可以作为紧密联系的两个步骤,语用翻译为美学翻译提供基础和工具,而美学价值则是语用翻译的最终目的。本文分别在理论层面和实践层面分析了翻译从语用翻译到美学翻译这两个层级的过程,从而得出结论,“翻译的新三级理论”在翻译理论和实践层面是可行的,翻译活动从语用翻译到美学翻译是一种合理的递进,也是必然的趋势。要使得翻译作品更好的被读者接受,语用翻译可以发挥巨大作用;要使得翻译作品更有价值和意义,并体现语言的美感,则需要美学翻译的加工与提炼。从语用翻译到美学翻译,是走向更好翻译作品的必由之路。
