词汇是语言的基石,词汇学习是外语学习过程中尤为重要的一个方面。近几十年来,许多国内外学者做了许多关于二语词汇习得方法的研究,但这些研究较多的还是策略研究。本论文从一个相对较新的角度研究了影响词汇习得的一个重要因素,即,语音意识能力。本研究的理论依据为语言学习理论和词汇知识理论,即二语习得的语言学理论即输入理论、信息处理模式、技能-学习模式及词汇学习相关的理论。本研究使用的词汇学习策略框架则是以语言学习策略的分类为基础,主要是以O’Malley和Chamot的词汇学习策略(元认知策略、认知策略、社会/情感策略)为依据。本文旨在研究大学生英语词汇学习策略使用情况,并佐证语音意识能力对词汇习得具有极大的促进作用。在研究设计上采用多维分析方法,使用的数据收集方法为问卷调查和词汇测试,被试是107名非英语专业二年级的学生。经过数据整理和分析对比,表明词汇学习策略、语音意识及大学生词汇习得有极大相关性。大学生英语词汇学习不仅要运用词汇学习策略,还要不断提高自身的语音意识。该研究对教师和学生在英语词汇的教与学方面都具有一定现实意义。
