论文摘要
译者在翻译过程中发挥着关键作用,是翻译活动的主体。但是在漫长的翻译实践和理论研究历史中,译者地位却长期得不到重视。在传统翻译观中,原作和原作者凌驾于译者之上,译者则处于次要和从属地位。直到近代,译者才逐渐受到人们的重视。20世纪70年代,哲学阐释学被引入翻译研究领域。阐释学将翻译视为译者对原文理解和解释的过程,强调了译者的能动作用,被广泛应用于对译者主体性的说明和研究。这篇论文共分五章。第一章简要介绍本文的研究背景,研究问题,以及研究目的和意义。第二章为文献综述部分,主要对本文的理论基础—阐释学做了系统介绍。阐释学经历了传统阐释学和现代阐释学两个发展阶段。20世纪70年代,阐释学被引入翻译研究领域。乔治·斯坦纳提出了翻译的四个步骤:信任、侵入、吸收和补偿。在这一过程中,译者作为主体在翻译过程中的能动作用进一步得到凸显。第三章以《道德经》的四个译本为例,通过对各个译本进行比较分析,从词、句、风格三个层次揭示了译者对原文产生不同阐释的原因,从而表现了译者对翻译的操纵和影响。译者作为翻译主体,其自由和权利的发挥也受到多种客观因素的影响。因此,在第四章中,着重讨论了制约译者自由和权利的因素,以防止过度夸大译者主体性而使翻译趋同于任意解释。最后一章对全文进行了简要总结。译者作为翻译主体,其在翻译过程中,必然享有某种自由和权利。但是,自由和权力不是绝对的,它受到各种客观因素的制约。翻译也因此才备受争议。只有协调好这两者之间的关系,译者的翻译才能更客观、更公正。
