提高隐喻意识与高中英语教学

论文摘要

本论文目的是论述如何运用隐喻理论来指导高中英语教学,使认知隐喻学的研究成果和高中英语教学结合起来,以促进高中学生的英语学习,促使高中英语教师在英语教学过程中提高对隐喻作用的认识。本论文主要采取文献综述法来进行研究,在总结前人有关隐喻的研究成果的基础上探讨在高中英语教学中应用隐喻作为教学手段的可行性和方法措施。隐喻的研究历史悠久,经历从古希腊亚里士多德的隐喻修辞观到现代的隐喻认知观,从词语层面的隐喻研究到语法层面的隐喻研究的漫长过程。近年来,关于隐喻的研究成果更是层出不穷,并开始用于指导语言教学实践。然而,运用隐喻最新研究成果来探讨高中英语教学的研究并不多,且比较零散。根据“隐喻在语言中所处不在”的思想,探讨如何用现代的认知隐喻观来指导高中英语教学具有现实的意义。本论文首先论证了在高中英语教学中进行隐喻教学是可行的和必要的;进而通过实例探讨如何运用隐喻知识进行高中英语词汇教学,语法教学,跨文化交际教学;最后并根据高中学生学习英语的特点以及目前高中英语隐喻知识教学的现状,提出了几条相关的原则和措施。
