高职高专学生英语词汇学习策略的研究

许多高职高专学生常常抱怨记不住英语单词,或者,记住的单词过一会儿就会忘掉。即使记住了,却不知道怎样正确地应用它们。低效率的词汇记忆方法和各种各样的考试如毕业考试、高等学校英语应用能力考试、求职英语考试等成为他们很头痛的一个大问题。此问题虽然引起了广大教师和学者们的关注,但就此做的研究并不多,尤其是针对高职高专学生词汇学习策略的研究就更少。为此,本人认为仍有必要进一步探讨这一问题。本文意在探讨此问题,即为什么我校高职高专学生会有词汇学习的问题。本文首先提出假设这些问题主要是因为他们缺乏有效的词汇学习策略。然后,以呼和浩特职业学院学前教育一年级四个班的学生为样本,采用问卷调查、随机访谈的方式,对高职高专学生的词汇学习策略现状作较全面的了解。然后选取100份有效问卷用SPSS数据统计软件进行分析。调查分析的最后结果证实了本文的假设,表明他们的词汇学习策略普遍较单一,缺乏较有效的词汇学习策略和有效的指导。而且,英语学习成绩好的学生在词汇学习策略的使用方面同学习成绩较差的学生之间存在着明显的区别。针对这一现象,本文进行了简要地分析,并根据本次调查结果,从教与学的角度提出了建议。最后,作者指出了本研究的局限性,并为以后做这方面的研究提供了一些尝试性建议。
