论文摘要
口译作为一种新兴职业和重要的跨文化交际手段,由于其快速的信息传递及有效的跨文化沟通优势,在国际交往日益频繁的当今社会中越来越被广泛应用。随着中国的改革开放及经济全球化的发展,越来越多的国际会议选择在中国召开。口译不仅是跨语言同时也是跨文化的交流活动。口译译员凭借熟练的语言运用能力和翻译技巧,可以帮助来自不同国家、语言不通的交流者克服语言和文化上的障碍,成功地完成跨文化交际。本论文从跨文化交际的角度研究口译。口译既然是一种跨文化交流活动,口译译员在口译时不可避免会面对各种跨文化交际障碍和冲突,如何处理这些交际障碍,如何培养和提高口译译员跨文化交际的意识和能力是本文研究的重点。本文从语言与文化的关系,文化与交际的关联角度,通过对各种跨文化障碍的分析探讨跨文化意识对口译译员的作用,探索行之有效的方法解决这些交际障碍,从而提高口译译员的跨文化交流能力。前言部分首先简要介绍口译的历史和发展过程,指出为更好地理解原语并进行口译,从跨文化交际层面理解口译是不可或缺的。第一章说明口译是一种跨文化交际活动,阐释了文化、交际的概念以及二者之间的关系。依据吉尔“口译行为即是交际功能”理论着重论证了口译的跨文化交际背景。第二章首先指出在口译活动中口译译员不仅要发挥语言桥梁的作用,而且应当发挥文化桥梁的作用。而跨文化交际中的文化差异要求口译译员要培养跨文化沟通意识,提高跨文化沟通能力。第三章主要对口译译员如何成为成功的跨文化交际者提出了一些建议和看法。口译译员应掌握工作语言,培养跨文化意识,提高跨文化交际能力,习得文化知识,树立正确的态度,掌握口译技巧,加强职业素养。结论部分对全文进行了简要总结,再次阐明了文化因素在口译中的重要性,提出口译译员应有意识地增强其自身的跨文化交际能力。
