浅论公共演讲中文化因素的汉英口译

论文摘要

本论文旨在探讨公共演讲中经常出现于演讲各个部分的文化因素,以及在汉英口译过程中对这些文化因素的处理技巧。公共演讲口译与联络陪同口译、新闻发布会口译和谈判口译等口译场合存在不同之处。公共演讲作为一种口头交流的形式有其独特的结构和一些常用的语言。这也使得公共演讲口译有了单独作为一个研究对象的价值。在本文中,作者根据演讲的结构,把在演讲口译中常出现的文化因素按称谓、开头语和主体加以概括和列举。其中的主体部分,由于包含了不同文化背景的演讲者所发表的观点,也因此集中了绝大多数的文化因素。作者将出现于这一部分的文化因素分成了六大类进行列举:带有中国特色的政治术语、修饰语、宣传术语、四字格与引语、数字以及中西方有不同理解的术语。由于翻译演讲的过程更多是笔译与现场口译的一种结合。因此,作者不仅在文中提出了相应的口译策略,同时也借用了一些笔译的处理方法,以期更好地处理这些文化因素以更有效地传递讲话者的信息。
