基于维索尔伦顺应论的英语骂詈语研究

众所周知,骂詈语,尽管以语言的负面形态出现,但在任何语言中都是一个必不可少的有机组成部分,在英语中也不例外。英语中存在大量的骂詈语,尤其在原声电影、文学名著和日常用语中更是随处可见,它不仅丰富了英语语言的表现力,而且反映了英语国家民族的价值观、是非标准,思维模式和心理状态,同时展现了英语国家的社会风情和民俗文化,创造了人类文化的多样性,成为研究和学习英语语言一个不可回避的话题。鉴于英语骂詈语这种语言现象的复杂性和独特性,对其只能是采用综观的观点,多层次、多角度的去探讨和研究。本文从语用学的角度出发,引入维索尔伦动态语境顺应论作为研究英语骂詈语的理论框架,从顺应论的四个方面,即语境关系的顺应、语言结构的顺应、顺应的动态性和顺应过程的意识程度为理论依据,运用描述法和定性分析法,选取英文原声电影,文学作品和日常对话中的英语骂詈语为文本,去分析和解释英语骂詈语的使用过程。研究表明,英语骂詈语作为一种情感语言,是交际者根据特定的交际需求动态地顺应语境因素,表达交际者特定的情感和情绪,表明在特定语境下交际者明显的态度和信念,从而达到其交际目的的一种语言选择的结果,也是实现其交际意图的一种策略和手段。本文运用动态语境顺应论来研究英语骂詈语,是一次积极地尝试,希望可以指导英语学习者尽可能全面、系统地理解英语骂詈语的语言使用特点,帮助英语学习者正确和恰当地理解和运用英语骂詈语,以便促进跨文化的交流和沟通,增强语言的表现力,避免不必要的误解,实现积极有效的交际。
