生态翻译学观照下《论语》两个英译本的研究

论文摘要

《论语》作为中国传统文化的精神基石，蕴含着丰富的生态哲学。在全球生态危机的背景下，实现和维持人与自然之间的和谐变得尤为重要，与此同时，儒家的生态智慧也逐渐成为关注的焦点。但由于东西方生态文化的差异和译者翻译策略的不同，这一经典著作中的生态文化往往无法在其译本中充分地得以彰显。基于以往对《论语》及其英译本的研究，本文试图从生态翻译学视角对《论语》的两个英译本进行探究。生态翻译学理论由胡庚申教授提出，主要包括三个核心概念：翻译生态环境、适应与选择及以译者为中心。借助生态翻译学的理论框架，并通过实例分析，本文详细描述了在翻译生态环境中两位译者循环交替的对原文的适应和对译文的选择，从语言、文化和交际三个维度对理雅各和韦利的两个英译本进行了尝试性的比较和分析。
