中央九套新闻访谈节目《对话》中打断现象的会话分析

西方语言学者对打断现象进行了大量的研究,其中不乏关于新闻访谈中打断现象的。然而,几乎所有的研究都将打断中的权势关系作为研究的焦点,很少有人从功能的角度研究打断产生的原因。近几年,国内的少数研究者们已尝试着从功能的角度研究打断现象,如邹云敏(2006)重点研究了医生与病人之间的打断在诊断过程中发挥的作用。但是几乎没有人对新闻访谈中的打断现象进行过研究。因此作者希望本文能在这方面做出一些努力。本文运用会话分析理论,对中央电视台第九套英语新闻访谈节目《对话》中采访者与受访者之间的打断进行了较全面的分析,包括打断的方式,打断现象所反映的权势关系,打断的原因以及采访者的打断策略。与传统的会话分析数据收集不同的是,作者通过因特网,在中央电视台的英文网站http://english.cctv.com上下载了十期由杨锐主持的《对话》节目,然后利用会话分析的方法对采访者与受访者之间所有的打断现象进行标注。作者首先对打断方式进行了分类,接着统计了十期对话节目中采访者与受访者在各类打断方式中所占比例,从而揭示他们之间的权势关系:相对于受访者,采访者在话轮的控制方面明显处于支配地位。文章接着通过语境分析,并结合合作原则分析采访者与受访者各自的打断原因,并统计了不同原因的打断在各类打断方式中所占比例,从而进一步揭示:新闻访谈的基本特征以及采访者与受访者的责任与义务决定了不同原因的打断在各类打断方式中所占比例不一样。文章最后根据具体的语境,并结合礼貌原则以及面子理论分析了采访者的打断策略。这些打断策略在一定程度上削弱了采访者与受访者之间的权势关系,照顾了受访者的消极面子,有利于节目的顺利进行。
