对影响初中后进生英语学习兴趣因素的调查 ——以周口市为例

随着经济的发展和社会进步,很多国家都在说英语,讲英语,英语的重要性不言而喻。英语新课程标准指出,教师教学应注意学生的情感态度,保学生持积极的学习态度是英语学习成功的关键。教师在教学中应不断激发并强化学生的学习兴趣,以促使他们克服困难,从而树立学好英语的自信心。本研究是基于初中英语后进生学习兴趣的一次调查。这次调查在河南省周口市的342名初中生中开展,采用问卷调查、采访和课堂观察的研究方法。调查结果反映了初中英语后进生学习兴趣的现状和影响后进生学习兴趣的因素。调查结果显示,初中英语后进生的学习兴趣的减退是一个渐进的过程,有很多因素例如自身英语水平和教材之间的差距、学习环境的影响和教师教学方法的不同都会造成学生在英语学习上的不成功。研究还发现师生之间的关系对学生英语的学习有很大影响,教师对学生的影响甚至能决定其英语学习的成功或者失败。因此,外语教师应采取一些行动去帮助后进生提高英语学习兴趣。譬如采用多媒体教学等先进的教学工具;关注学生的心理需求;在课堂上穿插对于外国文化的讲解;尽量在课堂上创造一个相对自由轻松的学习环境。
