元认知策略在高中英语阅读中运用情况的调查

阅改理解是高中英语教学中的重要组成部分。过去的三十年间,关于第二语言阅读本质和阅读方法的研究有很多,这些研究对第二语言的教与学有很大影响。而元认知概念的提出为阅读理解的研究提供了一个新的视角。一些研究表明,元认知知识和策略对提高第二语言阅读者的阅读水平,促进他们自主阅读能力的发展有着积极的作用。本文首先回顾了第二语言阅读中元认知的相关理论和国内外将元认知策略与英语阅读相结合的相关研究,在此基础上,确立了本文的调查研究框架。笔者对天津市南开大学附属中学高一年级的123名学生进行了关于高中生在英语阅读中使用元认知策略情况的问卷调查,同时选取部分学生和教师进行了访谈。主要目的是：调查元认知策略在高中英语阅读中的运用状况；对比分析了成绩好的班级的学生和成绩一般的班级学生的策略使用情况；并结合学生和教师访谈的内容,综合分析元认知策略现状产生的原因。通过调查分析,本文得出以下几点结论：1.高中生整体使用元认知策略的情况处于一般水平；在英语阅读中他们较多的使用监控策略,使用评价策略的意识水平则较低；2.实验班学生整体使用元认知阅读策略的频率高于平行班学生；3.女生整体使用元认知阅读策略的频率高于男生;4.教师在课上教授阅读的形式和过程对学生自己在阅读中采用的方法策略有很大影响。最后,针对研究结果,本文为教师提供一些教学启示和建议,希望他们加强对元认知的重视,有效地利用课堂教学提高学生元认知意识、增进学生元认知策略的运用,帮助学生成为高效自主的学习者。
