网络支持的大学英语阅读自主学习实验研究

论文摘要

阅读是大脑获取、加工、处理信息的综合过程。英语教学目标对学生阅读能力的培养提出了越来越高的要求,阅读能力成为英语综合素质重要因素。传统的阅读方法有其不可替代的优势,但同时存在一定问题。随着信息技术的发展,网络的普及,英语教学出现新的发展模式,网络为英语阅读提供了内容丰富且获取方便的资源,呈现一种新的基于网络环境下的英语阅读方式。2004年国家教育部出台的《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》(下称课程要求),《课程要求》就明确指出：“新的教学模式应以现代信息技术为支撑,特别是网络技术,使英语教学朝着个性化学习,主动式学习方向发展。”当今,网络环境下的大学英语自主学习已经成为大学英语教学改革的一个重要目标。在网络自主学习过程中,学生可根据各自的需要,通过调用网络上各种有效的信息资料,在教学平台上进行学习和交流。并在虚拟的交际环境中灵活、自主地运用语言,最终达到建构自主学习能力和提高学习效率的目的。本文分别论述了自主学习和计算机辅助下网络教学的理论依据,在此基础上,提出在网络环境下提高大学英语阅读自主学习能力的模式,并进行了实证研究。61个二年级的在校大学生被选为实验对象并参加了为期19周的实验,实验包括实验前后阅读理解能力测试,实验前后调查问卷以及一个现场采访。测试及问卷所得成绩经过SPSS电脑软件的分析,得到的结果验证了此模式对提高大学生英语阅读自主学习能力的有效性和可行性。
