管理学硕士论文英文摘要的主位分析

论文摘要

主位是系统功能语法中的一个重要概念。根据韩礼德在《系统功能语法》中的定义,主位是指小句中开始的部分,是信息的出发点。主位在篇章的构建和信息的组织方面都起着一个非常重要的作用。作为对论文准确而简练的总结,摘要也是学术论文不可分割的一部分,应该引起研究学术论文的语言学家们足够的重视。本研究讨论的几个问题如下:1)摘要中各种主位的类型及所占比例;2)三大元功能主位及其次范畴（即对这三者的再次划分）的特征及分布状况;3)单项主位与复项主位的比例及特征;4)标记性主位与非标记性主位的比例及特点;5)句子语义逻辑关系;6)其中显示出的管理类硕士论文专有特征。作者根据Brown的分层取样法,从2004-2007年中国知网“优秀硕博论文数据库”的管理类硕士论文中选取50篇,运用韩礼德经典的主述位划分方法及Martinez的对非标记主位的细分模式,运用AnnoTool和AntConc对转换好的文本进行标注和数据统计。数据分析如下:1)在摘要中经验主位占据了最多的比例,其次是语篇+经验的模式,而人际主位的出现则比较不常见;2)在语篇主位中,连接词和连接附加语的比例相当,而接续性语篇主位则完全没有出现;3)单项主位占据绝对优势,复项主位则显示了论文探讨内容的复杂性和作者组织思想的不同方式;4)具有标记性的过程和环境主位具有其自身特点;5)非标记主位中主要由“研究对象”和“认知名词”来充当,并集中体现了管理学的学科特点。而“指称”和“作者（自指）”的使用也很频繁。作者还简要介绍了这种基于数据库的主位研究的相关应用,例如将统计结果应用于英汉互译,从而使英文表达更加精确、流畅。最后,作者指出了本次研究的局限性,并期望在今后的研究中得以解决。
