学习策略对非英语专业学生听能的影响

本研究是建立在认知理论与策略研究基础上,认知心理学家Anderson认为学习是一个循序渐进的过程,而不应视为某种行为的结果,学习者应积极投入到学习过程中。O’Malley把学习策略定义为:“帮助个体理解学习和保持信息的特殊思想和行为”。积极的学习者总是有意识的选择和使用策略,以便更好的完成学习任务。听力理解作为语言学习过程的重要部分,是一个听者从语音信息中构建意义的过程。外语学习者需积极地选择和使用听力策略并不断评估其效果。根据这种理论,在外语听力教学过程中应注重学习策略的教学。 而现今外语教学界正围绕着学习策略可否教,如何教的问题进行论争。为了探讨这两个问题,本研究设计了一个尝试性实验。从湖南省中医学院03级五个班中选择程度最接近的两个班,任意指定03级(1)班为实验组,并让该班学生接受学习策略的训练方法。同时,03级(4)班(对照组)的所有学生按照传统的听力技能教学方法进行训练。实验结束后,两组学生均接受听力测试与听力策略问卷调查。结果表明,接受新训练方法的学生在听力测试中的成绩与使用听力策略的频率均高于传统训练方法。实验表明,两组学生在测试成绩与听力策略使用频率方面,都具有显著差别。研究发现,学习策略的教学有助于外语学习听力的提高,从而证实了学习策略的可教性与本实验中所使用训练方法的可行性。 本论文共分四部分。第一章阐述了认知理论对学习过程的理解,
