论母性的边缘性 ——从精神分析和女权主义视角分析尤金·奥尼尔剧作中的母性形象

论文摘要

作为女性形象的一种极端表现,母性在父系—阳性话语中一直处于“边缘地位”。母性的身份由男性根据她同家庭及其他成员的关系而决定,而她自己的欲望无法得到认可和满足。母性是男性生活中不可或缺的附属品,她代表了男性的理想,为男性提供保护和精神支持,有时却又沦为男性错误行为的替罪羔羊。但是,母性在被边缘化的过程中一直坚持不懈寻求自我身份。她对父权制度的反抗主要表现在她试图对儿子进行控制并否认承担母亲的角色。本论文在弗洛伊德和拉康为代表的心理分析学说以及伊里加利,德·波伏娃,和乔德罗,西克苏,克里斯蒂娃等的女权主义理论组成的理论架构下,通过解读尤金·奥尼尔《哀悼》、《长日入夜行》、《月照不幸人》三部作品中的母性形象,试图讨论母性如何在男性话语中处于边缘地位,以及母性如何在父权社会中努力挑战男性的客体化从而寻求自我身份。我的研究创新点在于,将女权主义理论和精神分析学说相结合更有助于诠释奥尼尔在作品中塑造的母性形象,洞悉女性身份问题。与此同时,我的研究也发现女权主义理论在同心理分析学说的关系,女性话语的建立以及母女纽带问题上存在的固有弊端。
