解读多丽丝·莱辛小说中的女性形象

论文摘要

多丽丝·莱辛（1919-）是20世纪英国著名的女作家之一。她以其怀疑、热情与洞察力,仔细地审视着一个分裂的文明。莱辛以女性作家特有的笔触刻画了众多鲜明的女性形象,在男权文化为中心的社会中表现出极强的女性意识,“性解放”运动的不断高涨也增强了其作品中女性形象的社会深度和影响力。莱辛众多的作品饱含了自己对西方女性精神危机和生存困境的深度思考,并通过其对女性形象的塑造,体现了作者对女性意识的深刻理解和对现当代男女两性关系的分析。本文从女性意识的概念入手,并结合女性主义文学理论,对莱辛在不同创作时期的四部小说中的女性形象进行分析,力图从整体上把握莱辛对女性群体的塑造。本文按照现实主义小说的写作手法,概括并分析三类女性形象：自我意识不断觉醒的女性形象、充满母性意识的女性形象以及老年妇女形象。通过对其女性形象独特性的分析发现：莱辛塑造的女性形象与自己特殊的经历、所处的时代、历史和文化环境息息相关。通过对女性形象的分析,本文认为：莱辛不仅深切关注女性群体,而且对整个社会乃至整个世界的前途、全人类的命运做出严肃的思考,并且为构建和谐的男女两性关系提供道德策略和方向。
