论文摘要
本研究对英语学习过程中学生已学过的词汇深度知识及产出性词汇能力进行详细的调查。多年来众多二语研究者致力于寻找导致二语词汇产出能力低下的原因,许多学者从词汇知识的视角探求结果,并且证实词汇知识的两个方面,即广度词汇知识和深度词汇知识,都是产出性能力发展的重要影响因素。然而由于测量工具的有限性导致对深度词汇知识的测量有一定困难,大多数研究都更集中于对广度词汇知识的调查。本文则从深度词汇知识的视角出发,试探求深度词汇知识对学生产出性词汇能力的作用更大,并证明以深度词汇知识为基础的教学策略的可行性和价值性。两组英语水平相同的被试在一个月的时间里分别接受了四次相同的词汇深度知识和产出性词汇能力测试。本研究统计了四次都参加了测试的学生的成绩,并用SPSS软件进行统计分析。对测试结果的统计分析显示,两组被试在第二次,第三次的词汇深度知识和产出性能力测试的结果有显著差异。这两次显著差异证明英语学习过程中词汇深度知识学习的贯彻必定会促进产出性词汇能力的加强。词汇的深度知识包括语义、形态以及语境是产出性词汇能力提高的必要因素。本研究提出以下建议:大学英语课程应该增加课时量,大学英语教师在课堂教学中需要有意识的加强对词汇深度知识的贯彻和研究。另外,相关的英语学习资料和活动中应该鼓励和提高产出性词汇能力的练习。
