美汉插入语对比研究

插入语是语法中的一个重要成分。近年来,随着对比研究在各个领域的应用以及语用学研究的深入开展,插入语这一英文中常见的语法现象,逐渐在中文中占据了较为重要的地位,而且这一地位还有可能随各项研究的深入继续得到大家的认可。关于插入语在英文中的使用及功能的研究很多,但有关它的交际功能则众说纷纭,莫衷一是,因而研究的空间很大。此外,虽然揭示它在汉语中的功能的研究近年来也在增多,但鲜见有关此成分的对比研究。本文作者正是基于这一点开展了此项研究,旨在对比分析的基础上,揭示英汉插入语在使用及功能上的异同。经过大量收集资料和认真细致地分析对比,作者得出一些结论,希望与此领域的研究者共勉。首先,句法层面的对比研究显示,英汉两种语言的插入语语法表达形式都很丰富。不过,英语倾向于词形的转换,而汉语倾向于同义词的使用。此外,虽然插入语的位置较为灵活,但其中不乏位置固定者,不能一概而论。其次,从语义层面来说,相同语义条件下的插入语在英汉两种语言中的表达方式不同,结构不同,交际功能不同。并且,英汉插入语并非完全对应。最后,通过语用层面的对比分析,作者发现插入语的功能在话语转换的各个阶段都有体现,但两种语言中所采用的习惯表达方式存在差异,这一点在插入语的口语交际中的功能探讨中也得到充分的证实。由此得知,虽然中英表达同种交际功能的插入语很相似,但在实际运用中还是颇有差异,从中可以显示出不同国家或民族的文化影响。
