许渊冲古诗词翻译中译者主体性研究

20世纪90年代，翻译研究界出现的“文化转向”扩大了翻译研究的视野，翻译的主体性问题逐渐成为翻译理论研究的热点。主体即“活动的发出者，策划者等”，主体性即主体的“主动性，能动性和创造性”(吕俊，2001:236)，译者主体性即“作为翻译主体的译者在尊重翻译对象的前提下，为实现翻译目的而在翻译活动中表现出的主观能动性，其基本特征是翻译主体自觉的文化意识、人文品格和文化审美创造性”(査明建,田雨,2003)。译者主体性是文学翻译中的客观存在，研究译者主体性就是研究译者在翻译活动中的主观能动性和创造性，并考察影响译者发挥主观能动性的各种相关因素。本文从译者主体性的角度出发，采用个案研究的方法，通过分析许渊冲翻译个案，考察了影响其译者主体性发挥的相关因素，深入探究了许渊冲在原语文本选择、翻译策略选择和翻译文本处理过程中所发挥的译者主体性，并阐释了许渊冲如何通过译者主体性的发挥实现其在古诗词翻译中对“以诗译诗”原则的坚持贯彻和对“音美，意美，形美”标准的不懈追求，从而进一步揭示了许渊冲的译者主体性主要受其个人经历、性格、个人语言文化修养、个人翻译倾向等相关因素的影响。本文研究表明，对于许渊冲及其翻译的评价不可太偏颇，应该持一种客观的态度，结合其个人经历、性格、个人语言文化修为和个人翻译倾向等，公正地看待许渊冲本人及其翻译。通过对许渊冲的个案研究，本文作者认为建立客观的﹑积极的﹑包含译者主体性因素在内的翻译批评标准具有重要意义，不仅有助于翻译界全面评论译者及其译作，而且有利于鼓励译者创作优秀的译作和积极引导读者多角度赏析翻译作品。
