文学翻译中的译者主体性：一种多视角研究

论文摘要

传统的翻译研究主要关注的是翻译的标准、原则、风格及直译、意译的争论。然而,作为翻译主要因素之一的译者却很少受到专家学者的关注。最近几年,随着新的翻译学的研究方法和理论的出现,译者在翻译过程中所起的作用已成为翻译研究的热门话题和理论界关注的重点之一。作为翻译研究一个分支的译者主体性研究就这样应运而生了,并日渐成为翻译界广泛关注和讨论的对象。因此本文以阐释学、目的论、解构主义的积极意义为理论基石,从当前国内外对这一课题研究的现状出发,分析了国内外翻译史上译者边缘化文化地位的根源,并对翻译研究中的文化转向进行了回顾。从哲学、翻译和主体间性不同角度对译者主体性的内涵、特征进行了探讨,并从翻译过程的不同阶段来描述译者主体性的体现。尝试对文学翻译中最重要的却长期被人们忽视的因素-译者进行系统的全视角的探讨以期深化翻译主体的研究。通过以上分析本文阐明了翻译在本质上是一个创造性的过程而不是机械的语言转换。因此,译者作为翻译中最积极最重要的因素,在翻译过程中应该在尊重并忠实于原文的前提下充分发挥其主体性的作用更好地服务于读者并满足译语文化的需要,但同时还必须认识到译者不是一个孤立的存在,其主体性还体现在与其它翻译主体的主体间性关系中并受到多种主客观因素的限制。本文共分六章。第一章引言部分大体介绍了本文的写作目的和基本结构安排。第二章以译者的低微的身份和主体地位为切入点,主要介绍了译者过去的卑微身份及现在的主体地位,并回顾了不同学派的对“主体性”的研究。第三章把哲学的主体和主体性概念运用于翻译,并采用主体间性的概念,旨在通过主体间性来说明译者的主体性。第四章深入探讨了译者主体性在翻译过程中的具体体现及对译文的影响。第五章分析研究了影响译者主体性得以发挥的诸因素。第六章为结论,对全文进行回顾性总结。
