非英语专业学生英语学习动机与学习策略之相关研究

论文摘要

在过去的几十年里,第二语言或外语学习领域中的许多研究者已把重点从对教师和教的研究上转移到对学生和学习过程的研究上。学习者被看作是第二语言或外语学习过程的中心地位者,在这一过程中,学习者的学习动机和学习策略被认为是影响学习成绩的两个最重要的因素。研究者也分别对这两个因素作了大量的研究,但是对于这两个因素的相关性作的研究并不是很多,尤其在中国。正是在这样的背景下,本文作者在江西师范大学对非英语专业学生英语学习动机和学习策略的相关性做了调查研究。通过分析,本研究主要发现为:一、课后是否主动学习英语的学生在英语学习动机上有显著差异。二、不同性别和课后是否主动学习英语的学生在英语学习策略上有显著差异。三、英语学习动机和英语学习策略之间存在显著的正相关。最后不同程度动机的学生在学习策略的使用频率上有显著差异。研究结果建议英语教师应提升学生的学习的动机并训练学生能够在不同的学习活动中选择有效的策略。
