形成性评估在高中生英语口语能力上的应用

论文摘要

《普通高中英语新课程标准》中指出,听、说、读、写,是英语课程学习的四大语言技能。口语能力在高中英语学习中是十分重要的。同时《新课标》中也指出,对于英语课程的评价要建立完善的评价体系,将形成性评估应用于日常教学活动中。学生和教师对于将形成性评估应用于英语口语中的态度如何?老师怎样帮助学生将形成性评估应用于口语学习活动中?形成性评估的使用能否有效提高学生的口语能力?抱着对这些问题的探索,笔者对106名高中生和15位高中教师进行了形成性评估的应用研究,通过对受测高中生实际口语水平的测试、分析以及目前口语能力的评估机制进行了解,探索应用形成性评估提高高中生英语口语能力的有效途径。在研究过程中,笔者发现了形成性评估不仅仅是一种评估的手段更可作为一种教学策略应用于教师的日常教学活动中,通过评价机制的形成和转变,让学生更多的参与到评价过程中,通过档案袋评价、自我评价以及互相评价的方法,调动学生的积极性,让学生真正成为教学的主体,主动地参加到教学活动中,大胆展示自己的口语能力,最终达到提高口语能力的效果。本研究过程一共分为四个部分,首先通过问卷调查的形式调查了学生的英语口语学习和口语教学评估现状,以及教师和学生对形成性评估的态度。其次通过前期测试分析得出:高中生的英语口语能力普遍较低而且针对口语能力的评估机制缺乏。针对测试中出现的问题以及学生的实际情况,笔者制定了一系列教学措施和具体试验方法应用于实验班的学习活动中。经过三个月的教学实践后,对参加研究的学生进行了后期测试。通过对后测结果的分析研究得出:形成性评估的应用显著提高了学生的口语能力。但是,形成性评估只是一种学习策略,它将随着教学环境的变化不断改进,如何将它与学生的实际情况相结合进行运用才是研究和分析的最终目的。希望笔者的研究会对现阶段高中生的口语学习提供些许帮助。
