从文化图式角度分析汉英交替传译中的文化空缺

论文摘要

随着全球化的不断加深,口译作为一种直接的交流方式在跨文化交际中起着越来越重要的作用。交替传译作为复杂的双语交际行为,其交际的便捷性和有效性越来越更加突出。语言和文化作为翻译活动的两个重要因素,在交替传译中是相互影响不可分割的。本文试从图式理论的角度分析交替传译的传译过程,并且着重分析在交替传译过程中出现文化空缺的前提下,文化图式在交替传译中的作用。文化空缺是指文化因素在一个文化中存在,却在另外一个文化中缺失的现象,是口译员在口译过程中经常面对的问题。作者采用了实验观察法来进一步探析文化图式与交替传译的关系。在图式理论的基础上,本文分析了文化图式在跨文化交替传译的作用,并且分析了文化图式的特点以及文化图式的可转化性。接着,本文介绍了文化空缺产生的原因和不同的分类,并且意在指出文化空缺的存在对汉英交替传译的影响。在实验研究方面,本文采用湖北大学外国语学院口译专业的学习者作为研究对象,对他们的汉英交替传译活动进行录音并且分析了口译学习者在文化缺失的条件下的口译应对策略。在分析的基础上,本文进而提出了在文化缺失的情况下交替传译的四种应对策略,以期达到更好的传译效果。
