目前,依照高中新课程标准要求,高中学生需要掌握大量的英语词汇。因此如何帮助高中学生有效地学习并正确地掌握所学的英语词汇是当前高中英语教师面临的巨大的挑战。为了解决高中英语教师所面临的这一问题,本论文试图探讨并研究一种新的词汇教学方法——词块教学法,并想通过实验来验证词块教学法对高中英语词汇教学的有效性。首先,本文作者进行了高中英语教学情况的问卷调查,调查表明:虽然大家都很重视英语词汇的学习,但缺乏有效的词汇教学方法,词汇教学依然停留在简单的重复和释义上。多数英语教师根本不了解词块教学法,在实际英语教学过程中,他们更多地使用传统的词汇教学方法并没有意识到词块学习的重要性。作者采用了定性与定量研究相结合的研究方法,对大港油田部分高中英语教师进行了问卷调查。为了验证词块教学法对高中英语词汇学习的有效性,作者进行了长达一年的实验。实验组和控制组的98名学生,来自大港油田实验中学。实验前后,分别进行了前测和后测,得出的数据进行了z检验,结果证明了实验组与控制组在词汇掌握方面存在着显著的差别。实验结果证明:词块教学法是高中英语词汇教学的一种行之有效的方法。
