模仿写作法在非英语专业研究生英语学术论文写作教学中的应用研究

英语写作作为一门独立的学科越来越受到学者的关注，国内外对于英语写作教学有着多年的研究。本文作者在前人的研究基础上，对模因论视角下的模仿写作法进行教学研究。模因论是一种基于达尔文进化论的观点用以解释文化进化规律的新兴理论，由Dawkins于1976年在他的著作《自私的基因》中首次提出。模因有两层涵义，存储于人脑中的信息是模因，而通过各种传递方式传播出去的信息也是模因。模因靠复制、传播而生存，语言是它的载体之一。我国的何自然教授于2005年曾阐述过模因与语言教学的关系，指出模因论对模仿教学有着积极意义。本文正是基于这一点，试图验证模因论下模仿写作法对提高研究生英语学术论文写作能力积极有效。本文选取研究生英语学术论文写作作为研究载体。它是所有研究生在校期间的必修英语写作课程。多数学校都要求研究生在校期间必须发表一到两篇论文，有的同学还需要发表SCI或参加国际会议的英语论文。本文作者随机选取了两个平行班级进行教学实验。一个作为控制组，一个作为实验组，都是由同一位老师担任课堂教学和作业批改，以确保其他因素对实验结果造成的影响最小化。本文采用了定性和定量的研究方法。定性研究主要是课堂观察，在整个的实验过程中，作者根据提前设计好的观察量表，对实验组和观察组每周进行一次课堂观察，以便了解模仿写作法在实行的过程中，教师和学生的反应等情况。定量研究采取了测试和调查问卷的方法。测试主要是对实验前后的写作成绩进行测试，将前测和后测的成绩运用SPSS进行数据分析。前测是为了确认控制组和实验组的英语写作水平相差有多大；后测是为了证明模范写作法是否有效。调查问卷是实验结束后，在实验组采集的，目的在于了解实验对象对模仿写作法的态度。本文的研究目的和意义在于通过本次的研究能引起大家对模仿写作法这种传统的教学法的重新关注和肯定，另外这次研究也能让更多的人了解到模因这一新兴理论，以及模因论视角下模仿写作法值得推行的合理性。
