论文摘要
本文报告了笔者运用自主学习的策略来进行初中英语文化知识的渗透和培养初中生文化意识的研究。实验在天津第二南开中学初中两个班(9,10班)进行。学生总体是94名,其中10班为实验班,9班为对照班,他们由同一名教师教授课程。教师在10班通过培养学生自主学习的策略来进行文化知识的渗透;9班为对照班,主要以讲授文化知识为主,未采取自主学习策略。实验阶段从2010年的九月到2011年的九月,为时一年。通过英语教学实践,从调查问卷中体现出:对照班大多数学生没有养成自主学习的习惯,在学习英语方面显得被动,只有在老师的要求下学习文化英语知识。而实验班的学生经过一年自主学习能力的培养,多数学生能够主动从课堂上及课堂外进行有关文化英语知识的学习,建立了良好的自主学习英语的习惯。与对照班的学生相比,通过教师对学生自主学习策略的指导,实验班的学生建立了良好的自主学习的习惯,对于他们文化意识的培养和提高很有益处。在文化知识的测验中,实验班学生有关文化英语知识的成绩高于对照班的成绩。由于时间短暂,以上实验结果还需在今后进行进一步的研究。
