科技学术论文英汉摘要主位对比研究

论文摘要

本研究选取科技学术论文中英汉摘要作为研究对象，对其中的主位进行了对比分析研究。本文的主要目的在于通过对科技学术论文中英汉摘要的主位对比分析，发现其中的相似和差异，从而探索出科技学术论文摘要在主位选择方面的规律，寻找出摘要在语篇建构模式上的规律，并促进科技学术论文摘要的写作与翻译。本文根据Brown的分层取样法，从五种权威科技期刊的英汉摘要中选取语料60篇。这五种期刊分别为：Chinese Journal of Computer（计算机学报），Scientia Agricultura Sinica（中国农业科学），Acta Mathematica Sinica（数学学报），Acta Physics Sinica（物理学报），and Acta Chemica Sinica（化学学报）。作者先根据韩礼德的主位理论对语料进行主位分析，对分析结果进行定性分析和定量分析。研究主要发现：1．在科技学术论文英汉摘要中单项主位（话题主位）占主导。复项主位体现为篇章主位+经验主位。在科技学术论文英汉摘要中都没有发现人际主位的使用。2．对于篇章主位，英汉科技学术论文摘要中主要是衔接附加语。英汉科技学术论文摘要中篇章主位数量相等。3．就主位的标记性而言，非标记性主位在科技学术论文英汉摘要中的比例都很高。在非标记性主位中，在科技学术论文英汉摘要中，“认知名词”充当主位的比例较高。在科技学术论文英语摘要中，“研究对象”充当主位的比例则明显高于汉语中的相应成分。只在科技学术论文汉语摘要中发现省略性主位。4．在标记性主位中，在科技学术论文英汉摘要中，表示“时间”的环境标记性主位使用频率较高。本研究的发现还可以应用到语言教学特别是写作教学中，有助于学生从主位选择的角度写好摘要。本研究的发现运用到翻译实践中，可以更准确更流畅地翻译科技学术论文摘要。
