论文摘要
近年来,教师话语作为外语教学的一个重要方面,受到了越来越多的学者的重视。对于大多数中国英语学习者而言,英语课堂上的教师话语是目的语输入的主要来源,教师话语对学生语言学习的成败有很大的影响。因此,对于英语课堂教师话语的特点及存在的问题的研究有着重要意义。然而,在中国,较少研究的考察对象涉及到农村地区初中英语课堂的教师话语。所以,本文依据输入、输出和互动理等理论,采用课堂观察、课堂录音、问卷调查以及教师访问的研究方法对四名农村中学英语教师与其所教班级进行了调查研究。研究发现:1.教师话语量远远多于学生话语量。2.教师过多使用母语作为授课语言。3.教师使用展示性问题的频率高于参考性问题。4.在交互调整策略上,教师最多使用的是理解核实,其次是确认核实,最不常用的是澄清请求。5.教师给予学生足够的思考时间并对学生的课堂表现进行更多的积极反馈。根据本研究的调查结果,作者提出了相应的教学建议,以便广大初中英语教师,特别是农村地区的初中英语教师参考。
