大学生语用能力现状调查及相关教学对策

随着全球化进程的步伐的加快,各国间的交流日趋频繁,随之,外语这一基本工具的角色愈显重要,这就要求操外语者不仅在语言知识上有着牢固的基础,同时语用能力（即非本族语者在不同情境中正确、得体地使用该语言进行交流的能力）成为被重视和强调的对象,以避免语用失误,顺利实现交际的目的。外语语用能力研究始于20世纪七十年代,与跨文化语用学（Cross-cultural pragmatics）紧密相联（Kasper 1998）。外语语用能力被认为是一种知识,由语用系统和恰当使用语用系统的知识构成。这就决定这种能力的习得与教学有着紧密的联系。从国外Kasper和Rose关于语用能力与教学关系的研究,到国内何自然先生对语用的定义及研究,语用能力已成为国内外教学的重点以适应时代的要求,其研究为成功的跨文化交际提供可借鉴的策略。本文以语用学理论为基础,研究分为两部分,一是对河北师范大学在校英语及非英语专业学生的语用能力进行调查研究,测试综合应用了何自然和张晓梅语用能力调查题及作者实践总结中的试题；二是对被调查者进行随机抽样访谈,作为对第一部分调查的补充说明并分析了影响语用能力现状的因素及提高语用能力的策略。调查问题包括：1.中国大学生语用能力总体现状如何?2.语用能力与语言能力之间的关系如何?语言能力是否决定语用能力的发展?3.英语专业学生总体的语用能力较非英语专业学生来说情况如何?为什么?4.影响中国大学生语用能力现状及发展的因素有哪些?5.为改变中国大学生语用能力现状并促以发展提出切实可行的方案。本项研究成果有：中国大学生的语用能力普遍较低,有待提高；语言能力高低对语用能力的提高有一定作用,但不能决定语用能力的发展；由于对英语专业学生语言和语用能力的全面培养,英语专业学生的总体语用能力高于非英语专业学生；同时,作者根据研究数据和访谈从宏观和微观两方面总结了影响大学生语用能力现状的及发展的因素,并提出了文化教学、隐显性教学结合、讲授语用理论知识及综合利用教与学的资源等方案为语用能力的提高提供了一些启示。
