幽默话语语用功能的性别研究 ——以湖南某大学大学生幽默话语为例

论文摘要

性别是人们社会身份中最基本的身份之一,是人们认识自身与他人对说话者自身认识的一个基本依据。话语作为人们社会实践的重要手段不仅可以反映说话人的身份,更是话语主体建构其性别身份的重要方式。本文旨在通过对特定人群的幽默话语语用功能的分析,探讨其性别身份建构的特点,并联系中国独特的社会、文化与心理因素对此现象进行合理的解释。目前中国性别建构的过程尚处于理论介绍或萌芽阶段,而国外的理论大部分是用来研究西方社会中层人群性别话语的,作者希望该论文能够对中国在此研究领域的理论和实践起到积极的作用。本研究主要是对某地区的大学生幽默话语分析的基础上探讨话语语用功能中的性别建构,语料全部来自此群体三个性别组合中的幽默话语,并对录音进行转写后的真实文字材料。本论文采用定量与定性相结合的研究方法。对幽默话语的语料按照一致性,权势和心理功能三大类别进行分类后,分别借助SPSS的卡方检验、概率统计和让步比进行定量分析,进而从社会语言学与语用学的角度进行定性讨论。研究结果表明:男性和女性的幽默话语的语用功能确实存在显著差异。女性比男性较更多的倾向使用一致性功能的幽默,而男性较多倾向使用权势功能的幽默,而心理功能的幽默话语通过卡方检验没有显著性意义。通过对结果的分析,我们可以得出以下结论:两性在幽默话语使用方式上必然存在一定的差异,女性大学生在幽默话语中建构了亲密,合作,团结的女性气质;而男性大学生在幽默话语中建构了竞争,激进,挑战的男性气质。幽默话语中善于跟人分享自己的轶事,与人建立轻松和谐的关系表现女性气质,而通过取笑甚至激发对方矛盾的幽默话语表现为男性气质。他们都在主观或客观地建构自己的性别。作为接受高等教育的大学生,又身处思想先进开放的大学校园,引领着时代的潮流,但其性别意识依然是不平等的。
