翻译研究的新课题 ——翻译的语用观

论文摘要

语用学是语言学的一个新领域,它研究特定情景中的特定话语,特别是研究在不同的语言交际环境中如何理解和运用语言。语用学的原则和方法不单普遍地应用于语言学各核心学科和边缘学科。 翻译涉及语言的方方面面,也正是因为这个缘故,许多人将翻译定义为语际转换,语际间的转换即是意义的转换,即翻译就是翻译意义的,就是翻译在特定语境中的特定意义。 翻译理论研究从以严复为代表的纯经验的总结发展到以语言学以及相关学科为基础的“科学”研究,又经历十几年的发展,近年来,我国翻译界有越来越多的学者在探索一种与语言学理论相结合的译论。目前正处在一个承上启下的转折阶段,作为这个阶段的明显标志,那就是语用学开始全方位,多层次地介入了翻译理论研究,从而在研究的对象,范围,内容与深度方面均取得了突破。语用学的发展为翻译研究带来了新的视角。语用学在翻译的理解过程中起着重要的作用,同时也给翻译的评价提供了新的标准。把语言的语用功能应用于翻译中对今天的语用翻译理论来说是一大进步。语用翻译是翻译研究中的一个新的领域和研究方向。 语用学的基本问题包括:格赖斯的合作原则,奥斯汀的言语行为理论,里奇的礼貌原则,还有关联理论,语境和隐含意义的推导,关联理论的核心是会话含义和语境。 本文尽力把语用学和翻译结合起来并找到一种新的翻译方法。论文主要涉及语用学规则在翻译中的应运,对于语用学可能与翻译理论研究
