中介理论指导下高中英语学习策略运用的研究

二十世纪70年代,英语学习策略的研究越来越受到语言学家们的关注,大量的研究结果表明,语言学习者在学习过程中采取适当的学习策略能够提高学习效率。同时,随着英语教学改革的发展,对教师在教学过程中的角色地位提出了更高的要求,教师不仅仅是知识的传授者和提供者,更应该是学习策略的指导者,合作者,监督者和培训者。教师在教学过程中应该充分发挥自己的中介作用,使学生在教师的中介作用下,逐步学习并掌握学习策略,从而实现理想的语言学习目标。依据国内外学者,特别是Oxford(1990)和文秋芳(1996)所提出的学习策略理论和以色列心理学家、教育学家费厄斯坦提出的中介理论,通过问卷和访谈调查的方式,对河北省保定市某所重点高中高二的105名学生和20名教师进行一下问题研究:1)教师对费尔斯坦提出的中介理论的12特性的重要性的认识;2)教师在教学过程中使用中介理论的频率;3)学生们在学习过程中运用学习策略的现状; 4)中介作用下,学生掌握并运用学习策略的学习效果。调查结果表明,1)教师对费尔斯坦提出的中介理论的12特性的重要性认可程度很高;2)教师在教学过程中使用中介作用频率很低、;3学生们在学习过程中使用学习策略的程度普遍很低;4)在教师中介作用的干预下,学生掌握并运用学习策略进行学习后学习成绩明显提高。以上研究结果表明,在教学过程中,有必要1)继续加大教师发挥中介作用的力度;2)发挥教师的中介作用,更应该注重对学生学习策略的培养。
