语境空间视角下的口译研究 ——以2010年温家宝总理两会记者招待会口译为例

论文摘要

本文从语境空间的视角出发,结合温家宝总理2010年两会记者招待会发言口译,探讨语境和口译的关系。空间在语言和翻译中占有很重要的地位,越来越多的人从不同的角度来研究空间和翻译的关系。本文基于彭利元教授的语境时空观,讨论语境空间与口译的关系以及语境空间对口译的影响。本文首先介绍了前人对语境和口译进行的研究,并指出研究存在的不足。其次回顾了国内外语境研究现状,分析了语境空间提出的历史背景和意义。指出空间对翻译的影响没有从语境空间视角进行分析,即使提出了语境空间对翻译产生了重要影响,却没有指出语境空间哪些要素影响翻译。随后对语境空间进行了较为详尽的分类,将其分为自然空间,社会空间和心理空间。本文以2010年3月温家宝总理两会记者招待会为例展开分析。自然空间指人与自然的关系,在本文中主要是指温总理答记者问中的政治、经济、外交领域及相关词汇。社会空间指人与人的关系,本文主要从与会者的背景、立场和文化因素进行讨论。心理空间是对自然空间和社会空间的认知与把握,本文主要涉及讲话人的政治态度,对中国国情、世界动态以及文化的了解。通过理论指导和实例分析相结合的方式,本文有如下主要发现:语境时空观是对语境空间理论的进一步发展;语境空间的异同对口译有重要影响:相似空间下,口译比较容易,可采取直译的口译策略;不同空间下,口译比较困难,可采取意译或直译加词的口译策略;译员应当在空间上下功夫,充分认知和把握这三个空间,才能成为优秀译员。综上所述,从语境空间的视角分析口译是一个较新的研究方向,能够帮助人们进一步了解和认识语境空间对口译产生的影响。
