同伴反馈对大学生EFL写作影响的调查报告

随着过程写作在英语写作教学领域主导地位的确立,写作反馈己成为英语写作教学研究的学术热点。写作反馈主要有教师反馈,同伴反馈两个种类型。教师反馈在EFL写作教学中的作用得到了普遍的认同,而同伴反馈能否在EFL写作教学中有效应用则引起了较多争议。有些研究者倡导在采用同伴反馈,有些研究者认为同伴反馈对于EFL学习者来说存在种种弊端。因此本文聚焦EFL课堂,旨在探究同伴反馈中国非英语专业大学生写作的影响,从而为在大学英语写作中进行同伴反馈提供参考。本调查试图解决以下问题:第一,学生对同伴反馈持何种态度?在进行同伴反馈的前后态度有无变化?第二,学生在评阅同学的作文时碰到了哪些主要问题?第三,经过同伴反馈的培训和试验之后,学生在哪些方面得到了提高?本研究的调查对象为湖南大学土木学院本科二年级A级班中的两个经过一个学期同伴反馈的班级48名学生。研究工具为问卷、学生作文。在进行同伴反馈前,英语教师首先就如何进行同伴反馈对学生进行了培训。本学期一共进行了8次同伴反馈,作文话题围绕《新时代交互英语第三册》每个单元的主题开展。在学期末课程接近尾声时,笔者向学生发放问卷。对问卷结果和学生作文采用定量和定性相结合的方法,用SPSS17.0软件包对数据进行分析。通过对调查数据和学生作文的统计和分析,得出以下结论:1)学生同伴反馈前后态度发生了变化。在进行同伴反馈前学生持消极态度,但是在进行了同伴反馈后,对其持积极态度。2)由于结构和内容是学生写作的弱项,因此学生主要在评阅同伴作文的结构和内容错误时存在问题。3)经过同伴反馈的培训和试验之后,学生在写作能力,尤其是结构和内容,读者意识和相互信任方面都得到了提高。4)在适当的时候提供具体反馈和可能的解决办法,评阅者与作者的面对面交流或者教师的及时指导可以用来改进同伴反馈。本研究为大学英语教师如何有效地采用写作反馈从而提高学生的写作水平提供了参考和借鉴。由于受试者人数和其他因素,本研究存在一定的局限性,一些问题还需要进一步探讨。
